YEAH, WE KNOW. The iPhone 8 is probably still around five months away but that hasn't stopped speculation and loose-lipped execs spilling details about Apple's next-generation smartphone.
The iPhone 8, apparently set to arrive as the 'iPhone Edition', will be Apple's 10th-anniversary smartphone, and looks set to be the first to debut wireless charging tech, a curved AMOLED display and an unusual vertical dual rear-facing camera. If rumours are to be believed, the so-called 'Edition' will launch alongside the less-impressive iPhone 7S and 7S Plus.
We've rounded up everything we know about the iPhone 8 so far and will update this article as soon as we hear more.
The iPhone 8 is likely to be announced in September 2017, marking 10 years since the firm launched its first smartphone.
Tech fans are divided over which system is better – Apple's iOS-running iPhones or the varied Android devices that use Google's OS.
While Apple offers a uniform experience across its devices (and often a higher resale value) the Android phones are often cheaper.
And as Google showed with its recent I/O conference, there's a lot of impressive features on Android devices like the Pixel phone.
But ahead of its own developer conference – next week's WWDC – Apple has launched a new campaign dedicated to winning over Android users to iPhone.

We see a lot of iPhone leaks every single day. Some are reputable, some are plausible, and others are just social media posts from bored teenagers on Weibo. But the one thing they all have in common is a tiny amount of effort. This iPhone case leak? Not so much.
Don't Miss: New leaks show the iPhone 8 design we’re hoping for
Pictures of a purported iPhone 8 case were found by Techtastic, and claim to show a rubberized case for an iPhone 8. It looks like any other cheap black phone case, with three exceptions: there’s a vertical slot for dual cameras, a cutout for a rear fingerprint sensor, and a piece of cardboard stuck in showing a vague iPhone screen.
The two design features the case obviously hints at — vertical dual camera lenses and a rear fingerprint sensor — line up with some of the leaks we’ve seen so far. Everything points to a vertical dual-camera setup, and then the leaks are split between a rear-mounted Touch ID sensor, and no visible Touch ID sensor at all.
It’s a brand new day which means we have to deal with more iPhone 8 leaks that supposedly show the design of Apple’s next-gen iPhone. A couple of image sets leaked over the past few days, including CAD schematics and pictures that show a dummy iPhone 8 unit complete with a protective case.

First published on SlashLeaks, the CAD images were then “confirmed” by one of this year’s most prominent leakers — although his leaks are yet to be verified:
The CAD seems to imply this is the iPhone 8 design that we hate — the one that has the Touch ID fingerprint sensor placed on the back — but Benjamin Geskin says that’s not true. Instead, that circle on the back represents the spot where the Apple logo should go.
He then posted a second CAD image:
SlashLeaks also posted a set of pictures that show a dummy iPhone 8 unit and a protective case.
